Grid Light

Hexagon Grid Lamp Light

Prolog

When you have a classic working-light mounted on your desk with a classic lampshade in form of a bowl, you might have blinded yourself when adjusting the light. As soon as your eyes horizon is below the light you physically look into the lightshade and therefore directly into the light bulb. You want to light directed only into one direction like a spot light and not an area light. Think about a light when going to the dentist: brighten up the part you want to operate on, but do not blind the doctor or the patient. Directed light can be achieved in several ways. This solution uses the depth of a grid light to send only perpendicular light photons onto an object.
