The Atem Mini is an amazing compact piece of hdmi switching hardware. You can create a very minimal setup with only a couple of component and be ready to stream videosignals with conscious cuts, filters and audio, all from the same device. The Atem was my first BlackMagic Device and I knew I needed one of these devices for building a small'sh switching Setup. I was missing some additional HDMI Preswitcher and a Multiview for all the additonal lines in, therefore I came up with the setup you are currently looking at above and below on the pictures. As I am using some mobile table mounted usb cameras, I also added some USB ports to the left and right of the machine - aka The Block.

The Block has a silent 120mm Fan and comes with separated +12V and +5V Rails accessable on the left side via a latch. It supports the additional 4x 1to2 HDMI Switcher, the Multiview and the 4IN 2 OUT HDMI Matrix. You don't actually need all this. But I tried to solve several problems I had, with a single Brick, that would still be small enough for placing it on my workbench. I wanted the Atem Mini to be angles towards me, for better readability of the keys. And I wanted a way, to switch the whole setup, on and off from a single Button. No Power - No Camera.
