    Be the purcupine

    Surviving in the
    times of Nerf

Is the pen mightier than the sword? Or can you at least blind your enemy with the ink from the pen? How to survive in the temple of Nerf Shangri-La? Are that to many Indiana Jones references? Read up on how I build a gun to counter attacks in the times of office nerf wars.

The Nerf Gun Competitor

I once worked in an office with a lot of Nerf guns all over the place. Concentration is limiting when you live in fear of having orange tip advancing at you at any time. You never know when it will hit. I flinched a lot. I'm not a gun guy. at all. Or a warrior. Or both. \r On my vacation, I came up with the idea of looking for alternative guns. If my colleagues are that much into that I need to counter their attacks somehow without shooting back with just another gun. I was thinking about a gun, that does not shot projectiles but cards with quotes or some form of intellectual counterpoint that might be mightier than the sword. You know, like in school. Of course it would not work that way, but I liked the idea and the deterrent approach i could at least get from it when I plan enough features to make myself a uneatable target. Like a porcupine or skunk.\r I've found the so called "Money Gun": A big piece of plastic with a weak motor to shot dollarbills over a laughable couple of feet by using a simple motor-battery-switch circuit. I bought two and tore one apart on arrival to see how much room I had for my electronics. Turns out: There is plenty of empty space in this gun that is only waiting to be used for a custom design.
